About the Site

This web site, sponsored by the Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, follows the activity surrounding e-commerce, internet taxation and global internet policy. The site was made possible through a grant from the Henry W. and Marion H. Bloch Endowment Fund of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.

INTERNET TAX FREEDOM ACT AMENDMENT ACTS OF 2007 (P.L. 110-108) - The Internet Tax Freedom Act Amendment Acts of 2007 was signed by President Bush on October 31, 2007. The new law prohibits until November 1, 2014 the imposition of any state and local Internet access taxes or any multiple or discriminatory taxes on electronic commerce.
