Academic Programs

The Department of Accountancy offers a unified five-year program of study, at the end of which students have earned both the Bachelor of Science and the Master of Science in accounting degrees. This program provides the flexibility to pursue advanced study in accounting, auditing, and taxation. The master's can be obtained by individuals who hold undergraduate accounting, business, or non-business degrees.

The following options are available for the student:

  • Enter the program as a freshman pre-accounting student
  • Enter the program as a junior transfer student
  • Leave the program at the end of the senior year with a Bachelor of Science degree
  • Continue on for a fifth year to obtain the Master of Science degree
  • Transfer into the graduate program from another institution

Undergraduate courses are offered in day and evening sessions. Graduate courses are offered at night.
