UMKC - The Bloch School

Scholarships

The Bloch School is proud to offer a wide assortment of scholarship opportunities  to new and current students, ensuring the excellence of Bloch accounting students.

A number of these awards are administered through the Department and are given exclusively to accounting students. Others are administered through the Bloch School Student Services Office in a school-wide competition. Most awards are made in late Spring for the following academic year, although there are a few exceptions. The Student Services Office  has more information.

To be eligible for and receive an award, a student must be in good standing. Some awards require full-time enrollment (nine hours per semester for graduate students, 12 hours for undergraduate students). Click here for the application form.

Need-based scholarships require that a student apply and be deemed eligible under the Federal Financial Need Criteria administered by the UMKC Student Financial Aid Office. Contact Financial Aid by e-mail or at 816-235-1154 to complete procedures for scholarships with need-based eligibility requirements.

Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis, half of the amount disbursed each semester, unless otherwise specified or advertised.
