Server Maintenance
The maintenance window for Bloch School technology resources is each Saturday from 7:00 pm until midnight. Maintenance may not occur each Saturday or during the entire time window. If you are unable to access Bloch resources, this is the likely cause.
File Storage:
Each faculty and staff member has space on our file server to store all work related information. The path to this storage is N:\Groups\Bloch\yourspace\%username%
Website:
Each faculty member is provided space to develop their own website. Kingsley will assist in setting up your website and SharePoint. Blackboard is also available for faculty.
Classroom Technology:
Many Bloch classrooms are already equipped with classroom technology. Should additional equipment be required or there are questions about how to use the equipment in the classroom, please call the Technology Support Office at x5683.
Wireless Technology:
The classroom areas of the Bloch School do have wireless access. 4747 Troost has wireless technology on the main floor.
UMKC Call Center:
The Call Center can help reset your password as needed. Call 816-235-2000.
UMKC Support Services:
Support Services provide additional technology and support to faculty and software. They are responsible for maintaining classroom and lab computers. If you would like to have software be available on in the labs, please contact Kingsley.
Voicemail:
All voicemails are stored in your email as an attachment. View the Unity website to change your password. Dial 816-235-5000 to check your voicemail.
Email:
The current email quota for faculty and staff is 2GB. Check your email via the Internet.
