UMKC - The Bloch School

UMKC’s Physician Leadership Program (PLP) is a collaboration between the Henry W. Bloch School of Management and the School of Medicine at UMKC. The program is designed to provide comprehensive healthcare management skills that will prepare physicians to successfully fulfill the leadership requirements of 21st Century healthcare delivery. With this advanced curriculum and expert faculty physicians will gain skills and frameworks for innovation and strategic thinking, as well as financial and business acumen.

This program was developed for physicians who are currently in leadership positions and those who will be promoted to a leadership position in the next 12-18 months. It is designed to provide rigorous leadership and management training to those physicians who are transitioning from a primary role as a physician to an organizational leader.
